Announcing WorldCat Local

Boise State University’s Albertsons Library, in cooperation with the libraries at Lewis-Clark State College, the University of Idaho, and the University of Idaho College of Law, is implementing a groundbreaking new information discovery tool called WorldCat Local.

WorldCat Local allows users to quickly locate information about hundreds of thousands of titles in many formats including: books, videos, articles, internet resources, sound recordings, and more.

While traditional library catalogs provide access to a single library’s collection, WorldCat Local seamlessly accesses the collections of other Idaho libraries and more than 10,000 libraries worldwide.

Now you can find many of the items you want with one search. Interlibrary Loan requests are available with the click of a button. For more information on WorldCat Local contact your library liaison or stop by the reference desk.
